Membership:

The Oxford University Society in Bulgaria is an official branch of the OU Society . All who have engaged in academic work in the University (working, study or specialisation) or in any college are eligible members as are those who have worked as staff, whether collegiate or university.

- Regular members of the Bulgarian Branch of the OUS could be all Bulgarian citizens - Oxford University alumni, no matter whether they are currently resident in Bulgaria or not, as well as foreigners currently living in Bulgaria. There are also two other forms of membership:

- Honorary members: are such persons, who due to their special merits to the University and in connection with attaining the society’s purposes, are appointed by the general assembly at the board’s recommendation.

- Associated members: are those persons or legal entities that comply with the Society regulations and have been admitted by the committee.
